And her first time riding the school bus to and from school. I think everything was a success. The bus was a tad late, and we were waiting in the wrong spot. Oh, and they changed the pick up bus # and busline w/o any form of notification other than on the website(which we didn't check, we just went by the letter they sent us about a week ago that told us it would be the same busline and # as last year). She only has one teacher this year, so I hope that the consistency from one day to the next will help out with things.
We're also looking at the possibility of enrolling her in Sparks this year(saw the sign-up date in the school newsletter). Maybe the structure and activities will help her with self-confidence(among other things) b/c no matter how many times you tell her she can do something if she would only try and/or practise, she keeps saying that she can't.
