That has been what has been going on around here for the most part. That and waiting for the roof to be finished.
The roof was finally finished on Thursday morning after a couple of supply snafus. It looks great, and I really can't say enough about how efficient, polite and just an all around good team the installation crew was.
Kevin rented the big gas powered splitter from Home Depot to get through the stack of big logs we got from St. Basil cutting down some trees around the church(I hesitate to guess, but we may have almost enough for next season). Now we just have to re-stack this years wood in the shed, put this newly split wood up on a skid in the yard and cover it to keep out the snow and ice.
