Kevin was given some money to take us all out to brunch with, but we decided to get some food at the grocery store and have a picnic in the park over by Centerpointe instead. That way, the kids would have lots to do and would have fun doing it instead of waiting for ages for a table and/or food to come. We stayed for quite a while until a thunderstorm got a little too close and started getting us a little wet. On the way home, we smelled smoke and were told by someone that a house had been struck by lightening from the storm that chased us out of the park(fortunately, no one was living in the house yet), which you can see in the background of the photo above.
